NOTD NYX Purple Noir

NYX Girls nail polish in Purple Noir (“noir” – French for black) is the ultimate gothic purple for me, and I like it!  People always immediately think you’re wearing black nail polish until the sun or light hits it.  The color is a deep, mysteriously dark, rich purple and it is easy to apply smoothly.  This shade has finely milled shimmer in it that’s very subtle.  Sorry I messed up my top coat a bit here and I didn’t clear out the edges of my cuticles enough, we were about to bring my brother to school and my family was on their way to the car already (nails in a rush!).  I actually painted some of the nails yesterday but messed some of them up last night so I had to reapply this morning…in a rush. I applied an Orly base coat, 2 thin coats of Purple Noir, then an Orly topcoat.
