I’ve never seen girls and boys this happy with their make-up. They must be truly inspired.
So now, I’m sure some of you have guessed where I happened to be yesterday.
I hadn’t planned specifically on meeting the AZKAL boys, an opportunity presented itself, but the chaos of the event pounded that to dust, and then God intervened. I once more, thanks to Him have a truckload of worthwhile photos for you. Yes, dears, if you want to see more and get to the pogi-pics, you must click Continue Reading.
We left for Bacolod just after dawn yesterday.
I have no proper game pics whatsoever, I was watching this game with a blazing fever, sore throat, and chills. There was no way we were going to meet the Azkals in a 22,000+ packed 18,000 capacity stadium (we’re supposed to know better right). The merciless infection embraced me by late afternoon…and before I knew it…
…I woke up the next day wearing a Forever21 dress given me by my cousin’s girlfriend, an H&M purse given to me last Christmas, and my favorite Unlisted camel low-cut gladiators from SM San Pablo. Yes, that’s the style snippet, I finally got to it so seamlessly in this sporty post noh? I’m still on Biogesic here…and the way God intervened was, well, while none of the sports empowered people we knew could make the miracle of meeting them happen…the Azkals happened to be on the same flight back to Manila 🙂 La-dee-dah 🙂
My aunt couldn’t help but chat the Younghusbands up and brag about my brother, who trains for soccer directly under a fellow RP teampool mate of theirs. My brother has been playing soccer since he was 3 years old.
And last…but definitely not the least…CHIEFFY!!!! This little but quick man scored the nutmeg goal in the first half of the game. He’s been playing soccer since he was 7 years old he says, and comes from Negros. 🙂 To like and support the Azkals on Facebook click on their official FB page here.
