NYX cosmetics, that drugstore diva of a brand made it big in the U.S. because of its hip color range, a ridiculously good-value, no-nonsense product line, their famous eyeshadows, and these increasingly popular chubby jumbos used by lots of YouTube gurus in the U.S..
I purchased 3 in Pure Gold, Rust, and the super useful white one in Milk.
What’s popular about these jumbo eye pencils is they’re not just good for lining, the blendable formula works really well as an on-the-go eyeshadow or at least base beneath your powder eyeshadow.
I can’t for now verify their lasting power but I love having them with me because of their crayon form in case I’m too lazy to whip out a brush and blend. I applied and just used my fingers here, then i put the Milk shade on my waterline. The pencils aren’t scratchy or painful at all and there are so many colors available so they’re also great as an introductory make-up alternative for little girls when they have that special performance at school or a costume party.
Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencils cost about Php200.00 each ($4.50). There’s also a more satin/pearl version of white called Cottage Cheese, but I’ll save that for the next NYX haul. 🙂 Locally only select NYX products are available in Glorietta 4 at Beauty Cocktails, a tiny store with lots of imports, or if you’re game, graze through Multiply’s seemingly endless list of beauty entrepreneurs who import and sell U.S. Cosmetics directly :).
