Majolica Majorca Skin Remaker Pore Cover 2-Way foundation

Let’s FACE it, sometimes for certain occasions or situations, you need to look made up.  You know what I mean, somewhat stewardess or hotel receptionist-like, made up and polished, where the natural I-Can-See-Your-Skin look just won’t cut it for instances with flash photography, artificial evening light and the like.

Looking a bit more made-up is okay to me, as long as my makeup looks clean and refined.  This 2-way pressed powder foundation by Shiseido’s Majolica Majorca is what I swipe on now everyday for work, and retouching has never been so quick and easy.

This is called Skin Remaker Pore Cover, and the kind of coverage and finish I get from this is amazing.

The Shiseido representatives locally sent this to me in a shade so exact for evening out my skintone it’s almost unbelievable, I mean, they haven’t even met me yet!

While I usually prefer to wear tinted moisturizer when possible (I really look better and more natural in lighter coverage) certain situations just really call for more coverage and I’m requested to look made-up on the job.  I love how the finish isn’t completely matte, thick, and dull, it covers well and gives me a luminous almost natural finish.  Continue reading to see more close-up photos and see why I am super liking this 2-way powder foundation.

Here I happen to be wearing Majolica Majorca Skin Remaker Pore Cover with Avon Supershock Eyeliner, Loreal Voluminous mascara,Elianto Baked blush in Pale Pink and my ever faithful Muji Lipstick in Rose Pink.  I dampened the sponge that came with the Pore Cover product refill they sent me and I spread it gently but firmly across my face.

What’s lovely about this is that by using the damp sponge with the product to apply it gives the wearer a refreshing cool sensation, what happens is the moistened product spreads thinly and evenly but you can build it up for more coverage with no problem if you have troubled skin.

The foundation goes on moist on your skin then dries to an ultra refined powder finish, this kind of coverage I believe is very suitable for Filipinas because of our warm, humid climate.  An additional bonus for me is I’m not allergic to it at all, no itch whatsoever, thank you, Shiseido!  I’m very happy with this daily pressed foundation.  Majolica Majorca products are available at SM Makati’s Beauty department, this costs Php895.00 and comes in four skin shades.

Would you know how many shades they have for the 2-way foundation? I passed by before but didn’t notice it. How long does it stay on your skin before you retouch? :)

  • Bless My Bag

I think they have around four or five shades of the 2-way Pore cover foundation…
