This happens to be one of my favorite birthday gifts this time around 🙂 I like pen eyeliners, they’re quick, not messy, and easy.
H&M is a European fashion brand that, like Topshop, has released its own meek little line of cosmetics and nail polishes.
What I have here is the standard little black felt tip eyeliner and what I like is it’s easy to get perfect edges and graphic shapes around the eyes with thick or thin strokes.
Here’s a special swatch I drew up for you which shows how easy it is to manipulate this one which is practically like a calligraphy pen.
I tried lining my eyes, but because I’m still recovering my application is not as nice as I would like, still clean enough to show, though. Continue reading to see me wear it!
The little black bits of fallout are from mascara that dropped from my lashes, even with vigorous cleaning sometimes you get a few dry leftovers hanging at the ends.
That’s something simple and something like this next one is more full-on and very graphic.
I heard from a few random sources that H&M is coming here to the Philippines soon, but I believe there’s a cheaper alternative dupe to this H&M pen eyeliner that’s beautifully black and super waterproof, too, that’s available locally. When I pick it up, you’ll see it right away!
In the meantime have a piece of cake, Bless My Bag just turned 1 and I just turned 28 yesterday. 🙂 Thank you, my lovely readers, for helping to mold Bless My Bag into what it is today 🙂
