Snoe Beauty No.9 Exfoliating Oatmeal bar – My Best Organic Soap for 2011

Today, I tried this soap and just had to put up a review right away, it was super that good.  It qualifies as my best organic soap for 2011 because it was given to me not this year but last December.  Snoe Beauty is a freshly launched  partly organic local beauty brand founded by two delightful ladies, Jen Gerodias-Diaz and her sister-in-law Gen Diaz.

I have a love-hate relationship with organic soap bars, they’ve kind of like been a hit or miss for me.  This one was a total hit and I am now ready to  gush about how good this No.9 Oatmeal Beauty bar by Snoe Beauty is.  What I love about it is the fact that it’s local (I’ll be listing store locations at the bottom) , I like its non-pretentious appearance, natural tender milky scent, and the wonderful, wonderful creamy way it glides onto skin and lathers up at the same time.  By the way, what you’re seeing is only half a soap bar, I cut it in half because I wanted to try it on my dogs who have sensitive skin, haha!  I also know it’s safe for them just as it is for me because of the ingredients.  I like this so much I can hardly wait for my next bath tomorrow.

Active Ingredients: Oatmeal, Goats milk, Jojoba Oil, Papain, High Grade Coconut Oil, Vitamin C and E

It bubbles up and the lather is creamy, kind of like the way a Dove bar lathers, but softer.  The lather literally caresses your skin in a non-synthetic way.  Skin feels soft and clean afterwards but not STRIPPED of moisture meaning not overly “squeaky”.The fact also that it is organic made today’s bathing experience feel politically correct, lol.  What I don’t like about other organic soaps is although they may be packed with true-blue good ingredients they fall flat for me when they don’t lather up even just a little bit.  I like my bubbles. Snoe has 12 beauty bar variants available, all one need do is take their pick.  I’m particularly interested in the No.5 Vitamin C enriched Calamansi one.  Here is a list of all 12 soap variants.

I was invited to the launch of Snoe Beauty last December.  The brand Snoe, Inc. was established in February 2010 and is named after Jen’s daughter, Noe, who upon being born was said to be “as white as snow” hence the affectionate brand title.

I like that the two women behind it are putting a lot of heart into the products their brand has released. I’d like to apologize actually to the founding Snoe princesses, Ms. Gen and Ms. Jen, for not putting up a review earlier, my December was quite hectic, had a friend’s beach wedding pa to go to on top of all our Christmas festivities. Snoe Beauty products are available at the following store locations:

  • G/F Cinderella, Glorietta, Makati
  • G/F Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa
  • 2/F Fashion Avenue, SM Muntinlupa

  • Hi Julia, how was your holidays? happy New Year!
We would like to thank you once again for attending the event, we are planning on a series of events this 2012 along with the many products that we are going to launch so this is very exciting for us.
Snoe Beauty Inc is herbal. We use organic and natural ingredients to produce high quality products. Our soaps are cold processed and are made of natural ingredients. 🙂

  • i’d love to try their soaps but it’s not yet locally available here in davao. some “organic” soaps give me rashes and the commercial ones trigger my skin asthma. i change soaps often. i hope snoe has a cure for me. haha!

    Hi Julia,

This is my 2nd time to read a blog about SNOE and so I rushed immediately to the nearest branch and bought this soap, the lotion and the S-crub. I don’t know what I was doing but I am excited to try everything.

I just have one concern, the SA told me that its kind of stinging.. I would really appreciate if you’d tell me more about your experience.

    Can’t wait about these goodies.

    More power!
