Yea, no kidding that’s all I had to say right?  If you don’t know who Paramore’s lead singer is…she’s been around FOR AWHILE and has been singing pro since she was about 15 and Hayley Williams is not just another young girl screaming at a microphone.  She really sings, as in seriously sings…and her ability to pull off pop-py, alternative grunge cool and keeping pretty without looking too androgynous is what gets her admired in the beauty community. I learned more about Hayley 4 years ago when I watched this interview about her and her development as a singer (playable only on laptops or desktop devices). The collection is a tricky one to get and will launch on April 9, 2013 and will be available exclusively online for a limited time only. Sigh* I’m glad I didn’t get any of the Archie items. I really…really dig what this is looking like. Hayley is just sooo irritatingly cool. Okay, you might not have had the biggest Valentine Date of your life last night, but you can sure look like you did. “Bring it” with Benefit’s warm Cha Cha Tint. 

Believe me when I say natural flush or blush on your cheeks is a simple makeup choice that guys can actually appreciate and I’ve gotten compliments for it. Flush amps cuteness, implies health, and projects quite beautifully that you’re a happy camper.  I’d say hands down that Cha Cha Tint is one of the most believably natural lip & cheek tints I’ve tried for Asian skin so far. I also used it on my lips here. It’s a bright coral tint applied with a tiny brush wand…kind of like from a nailpolish bottle. You have to be quite quick in blending it in or else it might stain just a little on your cheek. I have a deluxe travel size mini from Sampleroom.ph. My only honest cause to weep is the local full size prize of Php1800 for 12ml *eyes twitch*. That’s quite expensive for a lip & cheek tint I have to say, even though it works, but if nothing else does the same job get this & use it sparingly. You can see here in the look I did using all liquid products it just looks really natural and perfect for summer, which is already sneaking up on us day after day. I recently remembered this because “YouTuber” Emily Noel of Beauty Broadcast recently raved about all the different sorts of blush done by The Balm.  I agree with her totally about the textures of the pressed powder products by The Balm (available at Beauty Bar) even their eyeshadows totally rock, they’re velvety but not too crumbly.  I always held back on buying the world famous NARS Orgasm blush simply because of the name, call me a frumpy female if you like, it’s not that I hate it, but I’m sort of sensitive about names, even with cosmetics… because whatever you put on yourself, you irrevocably identify with whether you admit to or not, you don’t have to agree with me but that’s what I strongly believe.  I actually own a Rock &Republic blush in the shade Foreplay but I feel different now bout stuff I buy.  What made NARS Orgasm such a success what how flattering it was on different ethnicities and it wasn’t overtly pink.  I’ll probably end up buying NARS Orgasm when I get married LOL but for now I’ve got a great dupe, not spot on, less intense for about half the price, and it’s locally available   Meet Hot Mama!

What made NARS Orgasm such a sellout blush was the way it flattered so many skintones.  This Hot Mama blush isn’t an exact dead ringer for Orgasm but it has the same flattering peachy pink shade and an earthy kick with a gold sheen that isn’t annoying.  The NARS Orgasm blush is deeper and a little more pink but I don’t mind because Hot Mama flatters me pretty well.

I thought I had totally lost my love for blushes with shimmer until I met Trace Gold by MAC and now this Hot Mama blush by The Balm.  Both my parents complimented me when I first applied it and said it was sooo nice…which is probably a biased opinion full of love lol, but they’re pretty honest, my Dad doesn’t usually say anything about makeup I put on.  This costs Php776.00 from Beauty Bar, I got mine at the Rockwell boutique.

They’re almost here.  However, it will be increasingly hard to get a hold of MAC’s Archies Girls collection.  There’s actually an ongoing signup sheet in the U.S. that’s first come first serve. Funny thing is they’ve made availability so like we’re all fighting for Archie or something.  Sigh…I feel like I’d really like 1 or 2 things from this collection but don’t stand a chance.

Anyhoo, to be honest I’m not very fond of the visual…it’s too rarr and not “camp” enough, but the makeup is awesome.  Archie humor is quite camp and it seems they missed it by a bit.  Now look who’s sourgraping, haw-haw.
