I’M LOVING Loving by Sharon, Eau de Toilette for ZEN ZEST – Tenderly clean, light, and lovely…

I spotted this at a ZEN ZEST kiosk after an event in Megamall and had no idea beforehand that it existed and it just so happened that it wasn’t part of the Zen Zest launch I had previously attended.  I spritzed the tester out of curiosity and fell head first in love with this eau de toilette fragrance personalized for the local brand Zen Zest by our one and only Megastar, and my affectionate aunt, Sharon Cuneta.

Upon discovering that I absolutely liked this scent I sent Tita Sharon a text message expressing how much I appreciated it and this was her reply: “Thank you sooooo much, Jules!  I really singled out that scent and it comes from Phillipe Collette (? spelling) perfumers in Grasse, France pa!  Lovely noh?!…and I wanted something light that you could make halos “paligo”  Not like a perfume na wrists and neck ok na…”

She answered the ultimate question I had: why was something that smelt so nice made light in fragrance intensity?  I must’ve sprayed the tester 3x and inhaled till the saleslady was “asar” just because I liked the smell so much.  So as it turns it out the mildness of the fragrance was a personal touch.  At first you may get the impression that it’s too much of a low sillage fragrance to appreciate but the scent, I’ve found, does linger and beautifully so.  I’m not an expert in identifying fragrance notes but to me it reminded me of an eau de toilette I once had which was Burberry BABY Touch which I think was a limited edition child’s fragrance.  It was absolutely beautiful to breathe in.  This ever so slightly reminds me of the goodness also of that blue Johnson’s baby cologne lots of us grew up with BUT taken a couple more levels up and given a creamy/powdery note that sighs “baby”.  I’m not sure if I can make out any floral notes but if you’re a sweet fruity scent sort of person this isn’t for you because it isn’t like that at all, it’s clean and huggable.

This is also a great product to start off young teens with when it comes to fragrances.  I know for a fact that it lingers in such a nice way because I sprayed it on myself and my T-shirt 3 days ago and instead of chucking that shirt into the laundry I hung up that shirt because it was still clean.  Two days later when I put on the shirt to wear it again it still had that lovely “hug” me aroma of Loving left on it.  Loving by Sharon for Zen Zest cost me Php250.00 from a Zen Zest kiosk in Megamall and should be available via all Zen Zest counters nationwide.  I currently gave this bottle to my cousin Hannah for her 13th birthday but will quickly repurchase one for myself as soon as I can.  🙂

Trippin’ on My Refillable Travalo – Bring Along Fragrance Without Bulk

What is a Travalo?   Quite a few people have asked me that when I bring it up.  I assumed a lot of people already knew what it was but apparently not everyone does.  It’s a travel atomizer for perfume or liquids you can spray.

It’s a little vial encased in an atomizer for bringing travel portions of perfume, but what makes this popular abroad (mom tried to buy from on-board duty free but these were sold out) is how dead EASY it is to get perfume into it…no pouring, no fiddling with funnels.  As long as your perfume comes with a standard spray dispenser cap, as almost all of them do, this will certainly work.  Just watch…er, I mean look.

1.  Remove the spray nozzle cap to reveal the pump nozzle.

2.  Locate the fragrance entrance (LOL) right on the bottom of the Travalo.

3.  Marry the Travalo with the nozzle and hold your perfume bottle with your other hand (to keep it stable) and pump vertically making sure the nozzle straw enters the Travalo as you pump.  You will see the perfume level rise in the view slot as you pump.  Fill it but not completely, leave a bit of air space so you can spray without difficulty.

See how wonderfully easy that is?  Replace the nozzle cap, removing it does not destroy it so you can still prettily store your fragrance at home in its own bottle and just remove the nozzle cap again when you refill the Travalo.  I think I scored the 4ml one, there’s one size bigger I believe and it comes in other colors like metallic silver, sandy gold, red, black, and a blue I think?  I got mine for about $14 SGD, thats about Php450 from Watsons in Singapore but FOR YOU GALS/GUYS I found a local supplier.  I met her at a bazaar in Ortigas 2 months ago and she was selling Travalo items at her booth there 🙂  Go to stylistaph.multiply.com or contact the lovely Nikki Tamula at stylista.ph@gmail.com or at her mobile # 09177162805.… To full post & COMMENTS...
