You can’t go wrong with a set of Charm makeup brushes. They’re the locally recognized mid-range makeup brush brand consigned in quite a few locations around the city like in Glorietta and at Pure Beauty in Serendra. The brand has also been cited several times by magazines like Cosmopolitan. Top blogger Sophie Uy has done a superb job of championing her brand! I use these brushes often on wedding jobs and advertising shoots and they just really deliver…without shedding.
Use coupon code PH-Twentyoff on all transactions until February 28, and get a whopping, happy 20% off on all items from Beauty and Minerals!
They’re having a sale over at the brushes’ online home Beauty and Minerals, be sure you don’t miss out! I think the discounts are only for online purchases. If you’d like to know what I’d put my money on other than the retractable brushes, which every self-respecting girl on the go needs, it would be this.
The J&C Super Clean Solutions Brush Spray Cleanser (which I’ve reviewed here is part of the SALE as well! I plan on getting more than 1 bottle of the stuff because it works so well and smells great.

If this doesn’t get you into that holiday “rush” I don’t know what will. Benefit Cosmetics is having a 1-day flash sale at Greenbelt this Thursday, October 25, 2012. Sorry to be redundant but I must, seeing that some of you have upset the area around you in excitement, please note that the discounts (up to 50% on selected items) on that day will only be valid at the Greenbelt 5 Benefit Boutique and the sale opens at 11am and closes at 9pm. Holiday kits will be exclusively be made available 8 days before official on-counter sales. No faking sick leave okay…(seriously, I hate lying, all sorts). Just consider that office lunchbreak forfeited, looks like you might be having Benefit Cosmetics for takeout…
See you there, Teddy Bear! Remember to flash that winning smile at the person next to you at work before breaking the sound barrier on the way to Greenbelt 5.

Whilst I feel there isn’t the need to have particularly mixed feelings about hand soap in general I say is it’s always fun to have a little variety. I was blessed to be given these 3 hand soap variants at a recent Watsons event. They’re not organic and the only thing I feel they lack is antibacterial properties but they do the job of getting grime off well in three seconds under the tap.
iNGREDIENTS: Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Parfum, DMDM Hydantoin, Glycerin, Benzophenone-3, CI 19140, CI 42090
I immediately opened this one to install in our guest bathroom at home, because if there’s any hope of natural antibacterial action I thought tea tree and witch hazel ought to do the job. The scent of this one is clean outdoorsy and fresh but not overly complex. Of course I then discovered via the ingredients list that these hand soaps do not contain natural fragrance or ingredients and are merely scented as whatever they’re labeled to be scented of. Go figure, while I’m not offended I do feel a teensy weensy bit misled by the nature-evoking packaging. You can’t have it all every time, so for organic skincare lovers this may not be the best hand soap to consider but I can attest to its cleaning abilities and that it doesn’t dry out my hands after or make them feel itchy (as Safeguard tends to do). What I do particularly like is the tubby bottle which ensures it won’t topple over when you pump product out even on near empty days (there’s nearly nothing that can ruin my day quicker than a bottle that falls over that way).
In case you haven’t heard, Watsons PH are having 3-day weekend sales for the next two weeks! The first weekend has already passed so you won’t want to miss the next two Watsons sales from September 21-23 and 28-30. There’s a bonus 10% discount for minimum purchases worth Php1500 in one go so if you haven’t done your household toiletry shopping you surely won’t want to miss out.

Hi, everyone! I’ve secured a booth at the Bargain Hunt Bazaar which will be an event at Megatent, Libis (near Dampa). I’m expecting a huge, mid-range sale mix of retail, pre-loved, and novelty items. Mine won’t primarily be a makeup booth, mostly pre-loved apparel, but I will certainly have a little tray of trinkets and a few random unused cosmetic things for sale. My booth will consist primarily of pre-loved and mint condition apparel (clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories) compiled together by my family and mom’s clan.
Hehe, but don’t expect too much of a fancy setup on my part, we had little time as a family to plan for this, but I can assure you the quality and prices of items we’ll be putting on for sale will have you rummaging through our stuff with glee. Come on everybody, the more the merrier! Plus, get some super advanced Christmas shopping done and spare yourself the holiday rush! Like WildEvent’s Bargain Hunt Bazaar Facebook page within the next 2 days to get in for Free! Regular admission is Php80.00. I’ll tweet my both location as soon as I’m advised, follow me on twitter @blessmybag.

I think I went through 3 or 4 tubes of these between high-school and college, they were the one thing besides Clinique Almost Lipstick that Mom allowed me to wear. Heads up! These Body Shop babies are a local favorite and have high-dived into the SALE pool from Php795-Php395!
Back then it was like having a vial of blood rouge on hand and you knew the color would match any skintone light or dark and make you look naturally flushed. On the lips using the magic wand you could be Snow White versus the Queen for a day (movie plug) with a defiant red tinged pout, plus, if on the surface things are getting a bit dry and chapped before Happily Ever After…
…you may just want to whack some Strawberry Born Lippy on, they’re on sale at the moment at Php195 but they may only have the old designed ones on sale, same pot different label design from this updated one above (from the regular price of Php250). I’m not 100% sure if it’s an ALL BRANCHES thing with the Born Lippy promo, but for sure at The Body Shop Glorietta 3 the mark down is definitely on your Donkey Kong. I have a more in-depth Body Shop event post coming up so keep hovering and read!! For more information check out and Like The Body Shop Philippines FB Page.
